The Association Youth Development for Albania (AYDA) is proud to announce its next event, the Balkan International Relations Summit in Pogradec, Albania, between 12 – 15 September 2014. After a superb success of Balkan Model United Nations and Future Leaders Congress AYDA is looking forward to seeing another summit of motivated and talented youth from around the world. BIRS 2014 is expected to have an amazing reach. Our Team is going above and beyond in order to organize a spectacular event in Albania, led by our Organization Officer Fiori Dalipi, and Communications Officer Dea Binishi.

 

 

Participants of BIRS will take on the role of ambassador and offer solutions for the issues that will be discussed during the summit, using and developing their diplomatic skills. Every Participant will be the ambassador of a Balkan Country and defend their policy during the sessions. During the summit they will be confronted with many tasks and challenges in order to find solutions for issues being faced by the Balkans.

 

 

Besides the workshops and formal sessions participants will get to discover the local culture, food, traditions and the lake of Pogradec. At night we offer different spectacular social events in order to have an unforgettable week in Albania. Students and academics are invited to discover Pogradec City, where the borders meet. The most outstanding diplomats will be awarded for their diplomatic and leadership skills.
